What this site stores
Cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage, save information on your device. The portfolio pages (this page, the home page and the privacy notice) do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and they set no cookies of their own: they use browser local storage only, as listed below.

Local storage has no automatic expiry. None of these values is sent to me or to a tracking service.
Consent
Storage that is strictly necessary, such as remembering your cookie choice, does not need consent. Appearance preferences are optional, so they are stored only if you choose “Accept all” or switch them on under “Customise”. If you reject them, the site still works and the theme follows your device setting for the current visit.
If analytics, advertising or embedded tracking services are ever added, they will stay blocked until you consent, and refusing or withdrawing consent will be as easy as giving it.
Change or withdraw your choice
You can review your choice at any time. or use the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer. Withdrawing consent deletes the stored appearance preferences. You can also clear this site’s data in your browser controls.
The blog
The blog at masud.fi/blog runs on WordPress, which is a separate part of this website. It has its own cookie banner and uses tools such as Google Analytics. Read the blog’s cookie policy for the cookies it uses and to manage your choices there.
Hosting and external websites
The hosting infrastructure may use mechanisms needed to deliver and protect the website, which are outside the control of this site’s code. LinkedIn is an external link, not an embedded widget, and has its own cookie practices.
